Just Add 30 To My Last Channel To Find Me
I've found a new home at Fox 32 Chicago and I couldn't be happier. You'll see me filling in quite often over the next few weeks and hopefully beyond. They have a great weather team and I am proud to count myself as their newest member.
Trust me when I say I'm not trying to set the record for appearing as a meteorologist on as many channels as possible in Chicago. I'm hoping this will be my last stop. I'm grateful they are giving me a chance to do what I love and that is telling you all about the weather in a city that I love.
My career took an unexpected turn at the end of 2019 when I left WGN-TV and CLTV after almost 28 years. A few weeks later I ended up at CBS 2 Chicago where I did some fill-in work that included weekend nights for almost a year. The staff there was great and I will miss some friends that I made during my stay.
Everyone pivoted when the pandemic hit and I ended up doing weather from my basement for the first time ever. It was quite an adventure. I was even a census worker last summer as I tried to stay busy. I may have even knocked on your door.
Working remotely meant I had the shortest commute of my career from the first floor to the basement and back. I'm putting more miles on my car as I make the drive to Fox 32's studio on Michigan Avenue. I'm looking forward to some summer strolls in the city between shows. If you see me, please stop and say hello.
I have thanked a lot of people on my facebook page that have helped me get to where I am today. Now I want to thank my family for helping me through a challenging year and a half.
Please check me out on Fox 32 when you can. I'm looking forward to forecasting for you for many years to come!
