Enough about you, let me tell you about myself...

I'm Tim McGill.  You will find me on Fox 32 Chicago forecasting our fickle weather. My website is designed to be a place where you can get anything from a  quick, no frills forecast to a deeper dive into what's going on with Chicago weather.  I've been involved with forecast Chicago's weather for over 30 years.  You may seen me at some point on WGN-TV and CLTV.  I was there for 28 years.  You may have heard me on WGN Radio.  I was honored to work with Bob Collins, Spyke O'Dell, Johnathan Brandmeier and Steve Cochran.  I worked CBS 2 Chicago all of 2020 and the first half of 2021 before accepting a position at Fox 32 Chicago.  I worked at the National Weather Service Office at O'Hare and Romeoville for a brief stint.  I received my degree in meteorology from Northern Illinois University prior to attending University of Illinois for a couple of years.  Speaking of scholastics, I have been an instructor at area colleges and universities for the past 20 years.  Currently I teach at Columbia College and Roosevelt University.
